Becon Constructions was engaged by Yarra Valley Grammar to enter a joint venture with Paul Sadler Swimland to begin construction work on their new Aquatic Centre project. The pool was designed by Smith and Tracey Architects and consisted of a toddlers’ pool and a 6 lane, 25m teaching pool. A grandstand was added for spectators to facilitate their needs during swimming event/carnivals. The building was designed to integrate with the school sports complex and incorporate the surrounding landscaped area. The facility was opened on Tuesday the 28th of November 2017.
